Decal renders and captures locally. The pages you open, the captures you take and the folders you point it at are never uploaded, and we have no way to see them.
Only what activation needs: your licence key, a random identifier the app generates for the machine, a name for it so you can tell your own machines apart, and the app version. No analytics, no telemetry, no account.
Less than you might expect. We hold a one-way hash of your licence key and a record of the machines activated with it — a name so you can tell them apart, and when each last checked in. Not the key itself, so a breach of our database hands out nothing usable.
We do not store your email address. Your licence key and your receipt come from Dodo Payments, who handle the purchase; we never see them.
Handled by Dodo Payments, who also issue and email your licence key. Card details go to them and never reach us.
